July in London means Wimbledon! If you didn’t get tickets in the ballot this year fear not, we have brought together a list of the best places for you to watch the action across London:
Kings Cross: Strawberries and Screen – Cubitt Square. Monday 3rd – Sunday 16th July
Make sure you bring a picnic and arrive early to grab one of the 50 deck chairs available. The screenings are free and give Londoners the perfect place to watch all the action.
Camden Market’s Outdoor Wimbledon
Camden Market has set up a pop-up where games will be shown on an outdoor screen in the North Yard, in addition to drinks from Square Root Soda Works in Hackney, plus strawberries and ice cream to eat on deck chairs as you watch the action.
The Pimms Bar in Selfridges – Selfridges, Oxford Street
Department store Selfridges will have a tennis-themed rooftop for the whole of the Wimbledon fortnight, where you can take in the tennis with the London skyline around you enjoying a glass of the ultimate summer tipple at ‘The Pimm’s Wimbledon Bar’.
Wimbledon Big Screen – Merchant Square, Paddington.
With a big screen at the ready you can stretch out on the lawn until 10pm. Snacks and drinks will be available here too!
‘Murray Mount’ at Wimbledon
This is for the early birds as you need to get to Wimbledon as soon as possible to get a spot here on the day, but we think it’s worth it. With strawberries and champagne in tow you will truly have a memorable day and be right in the middle of the atmosphere!
