1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Job Description
This is a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant role supporting an Autistic child in Reception class at a fantastic and supportive West London primary school commencing September 2018.
This excellent Primary School is located within beautiful, newly built grounds in West London. With exceptional facilities and superb staff the school is a great environment to work in and we have had nothing but positive feedback from all candidates placed there. The curriculum is creative and engaging allowing all the pupils to receive an excellent education. Having worked with this school for numerous years, we have had consistently positive feedback from previous staff and they have also been able to offer ongoing and permanent roles for the right candidates.
As a SEND Learning Support Assistant you will be providing 1:1 support to a statemented child with Autism and some Speech and Language Difficulties. Experience of these needs as well as an enthusiastic and empathetic approach are highly desirable. Along with working 1:1 you will also be involved with this Reception class in general, supporting the teaching where required. The hours are from 8.30 until 4pm on a long term basis for the full academic year.
