This happy and welcoming community school, based in the heart of Camden is looking to recruit an experienced Art Teacher for initially the first six weeks of September. Covering a planned absence there is potential for the position to continue. An opportunity to join a very successful Art department has arisen for initially the first six weeks of the Autumn Term. You will be joining a team of five, consisting of experienced and newly qualified Art teachers, and two technicians. At KS3, all students are taught Art in mixed ability groups. Art is a very popular subject at KS4 and in KS5 students are offered AS/A Levels in both Photography and Graphic Art as well as BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design. The department work very closely together to ensure that students are encouraged to explore their creative sides and this has resulted in Art being a hugely popular subject within the school.
You will be required to:
– Teach Art to KS3, KS4 and KS5
– Contribute to the development of existing resources and produce new ones
– Ensure outstanding attainment and progress across all key stages
