Teaching Assistant –Emotional Literacy Support Assistant – ( ELSA )
An ELSA Teaching Assistant is required for an immediate start. The role will be an ongoing assignment until July 2019.
THE SCHOOL:
The school is a high achieving all-girls school rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2017. The school is highly oversubscribed and has a thriving Sixth form which offers a range of Level 3 courses. The girls who attend this school are highly ambitious with a high percentage of them going on to study at Oxford and Cambridge. The school have also received the SSAT Educational Outcome Awards for the last few years which confirm how strong results have been and continue to be. The school has great transport links and is easily accessible by both the overground and underground train lines.
ELSA Teaching Assistant
A great opportunity has arisen for an ELSA Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The successful individual will be required to support children who are experiencing difficulties with emotional literacy or other aspects of school or home life. The role will involve working along the classroom teacher to set individual objectives for each child and help support them on a 1:1 and small group basis.
