A Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2 Teacher) is required on a part-time basis from September 2017 at a new school in Croydon.
This role would suit an experienced teacher who is looking for a part-time role, 2 days per week. As the school is in the early stages of growth, the Head Teacher is welcoming applications from teachers who have previously taught either Year 1 or Year 2 in the UK for a minimum of 2 years. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in the school’s development, therefore the Head Teacher is looking for a motivated and passionate educator who wants to join a growing community. Applicants must hold QTS and be respectful of the school’s religious values. The scheduled days are open for discussion with the Head Teacher and would therefore suit someone needing a flexible timetable. Interviews will commence after the May half-term break for shortlisted candidates.
The school has been recently established and is currently at a 2-form entry. The intake for September 2017 is already above the expected rate as the curriculum covers subjects ranging from yoga and mindfulness to philosophy, the sciences and languages. There is a strong focus on student well-being and a holistic approach to learning is promoted by parents, staff and the local community. This is a unique and progressive school which would suit a like-minded teacher.
