This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit an engaging PSHE Teacher for a contract of two terms to start in January 2019. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dedicated department in delivering PSHE. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic PSHE Teacher who will be responsible for teaching PSHE to Key Stage 3 and 4. They team have created schemes of work in accordance with the curriculum and the following topics are covered:
KS3 – Emotional Well-being, Anti-bullying, Tolerance and e-safety, Health relationships and sex education, Substance use and abuse, Human Rights, Careers Education and Financial Capability
KS4 – Ambition and Resilience and Self-Management, Respect and Resilience, and Respect and Self-Management
You will be working alongside a very supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PSHE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PSHE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post. The role is to start from January 2019, and they are looking for a PSHE Teacher who is able to commit for the remainder of the academic year.
To be considered for this PSHE Teacher role you must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• PGCE in PSHE
• Experience teaching PSHE KS3-KS4
