This Good Secondary School based in the borough of Barking and Dagenham are currently looking to recruit a newly qualified Spanish Teacher from September 2018. This successful MFL Department are fully committed to developing languages and offering students the opportunity to communication successfully. All students study Spanish in KS3 and once in KS4 they have the option to either continue learning Spanish or begin to learn French. They are assessed in each of the four key skills; Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The assessment information is used by staff within the department to monitor progress support students with their individual needs. By the end of KS3, students will learn how to use at least three tenses and a range of grammar and vocabulary structures that will enable them to communicate effectively in another language. At GCSE, pupils will learn about a variety of topics following the AQA GCSE course in either Spanish or French. This department are looking for a Newly Qualified Spanish Teacher to join their team however experienced teachers are also encouraged to apply.
To be considered for this role you must have:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– PGCE in Spanish
– Experience of teaching Spanish KS3 – KS4
